Educators contribute to the profession.
Through taking the time to design my eportfolio, meeting with my triad group, and attending teacher meetings during my practicum; I would say I have contributed to the profession to the best of my abilities. I continue to explore the profession through my willingness to participate wholeheartedly in most events in my practicum schools.
Teacher meetings -I observed meetings with other educators in the school to come up with plans for events and things happening in the school.
After school supervision- attended morning/after school supervision with my practicum teacher Triads- communicated, provided feedback, and reflected with teacher candidates during practicum experience
E-portfolios- designed portfolios online to present my learning journey as an educator
Planning- I contributed by providing assessments, lesson plans, a rough draft of lesson plans emailed ahead of time to my practicum teacher, and helped my practicum teacher by helping students with school work when I was not teaching them
Education Staff- I worked well with two Education Assistants during my teaching. If I needed anything done, I never hesitated to ask.
